This property seems to be the oldest of the
whole Viano's district.
This pretty town, in the country of Reggio Emilia, lies on the
first eminences of reggiana's hills.
This property existed at one time in the XV century and the
proof is the document below: a letter written by Franceschino
Della Valle to the bishop of Reggio Emilia, dated 10 June 1461.
"Reverendissimo in Christo patri nostro observandissimo domino
Baptista del gratia Episcopo Regino Rev.me in pater domine
noster observandissime cum recomandacione. La Signoria v.ra de
savere como don Girardo da Casella Rectore de la nostra giexia
qui de San Pedro e vecchissimo e vedendo nui che l'e vecchio
veresseme voluntera provedere ali facti nostri per bona via per
lo tempo avenire si che volgiamo pregare la Signoria V.a che
dito don Girardo ut sia aricomandà |

Are already 550 years that The Valle exists:
before the America's discovery!
Mr Piccinini, one day in the 1995, walking through the area,
discern this "beauty" heap of decadent rocks (as you can see in
the illustrations in the next pages).
It was a century that the property was in state of neglect.
Anyway, Mr Piccinini, understood what the property could become
after years of hard reconstructive work...
Now the property is made of different rebuild or remade areas
and is about 300.000mq (about 74.000 acres) of which 2.000mq
covered.
